My president is black and it's Obama. Barack Obama became president of the United States on January 20th , 2009. Obama won the Noble peace prize For being one of America's youngest presidents, in office less than nine months -- and only for 12 days before the Nobel nomination deadline last February -- it was an enormous honor. The nobel peace prize was given to presidents since 1901. Three U.S. presidents and one vice president have won the Peace Prize in particular. We have a tough, intelligent, decisive leader with a clear vision of right and wrong. Fortunately, the American public is smart enough to see the truth. Obama stated "Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek. " We voted in a man who promised change. And he is doing just that. Actually , other presidents won the nobel peace prize. Here are some examples : Theodore Roosevelt , Woodrow Wilson , Vice President Charles Dawes , Jimmy Carter , Elihu Root , Frank Kellogg , Cordell Hull, George C. Marshall , and Henry Kissinger.
