Winter Break

Going away for winter break wasn't stopping me from doing my homework. For the vacation , I went to the Bronx in Fordam. I can take pictures of this community. For Christmas , I went to 2 aeropostale sweaters , boots , cards with money in it , bras , and a bedspread for my bed. I used that money to go to after christmas sales and buy a blazer sneaker. When the sky got nice and sunny , I started to take photos of this niehborhood in the Bronx. I have completed most of my homework anyways. I just have to review it.

Celeberty News

Breaking news! Brittany Murphy dies on Sunday morning at age 32. Murphy was born in Atlanta , Georgia and raised in Edison , New Jersey. It happened after she went into full cardain arrest and could not be revived. This article is very interesting to me. She has starred in varuios films. In 2001 , she starred in "Don't say a word" as a troubled young woman. She was also a singer. In the early 90's , she was the lead singer in her own band called "Blessed Soul". In 2002 , she played Nikki in "Spun". She even worked with Eminem , Aston Kutcher , Jessica Alba , and Dakota Fanning. Guess what , she was the voice of Penquin Gloria in "Happy Feet". Murphy married Simon Monjack. This article is interesting because it lets me know things about an actress. It is also sad because she dies on the week of Christmas.

Proggresing : Moving Foward

Now I am almost 1/2 way there. I uploaded some photos of my community but , they are from google so , I cannot use them and I have to take real pics. The bright side is that , this will all be easy to accomplish. By the way , I already did powerpoint / paint. We are going to use a microphone to say something and make a real map and take a pic of it. Thats all there is to the project. Effort and joggle!

Community Project

This week we've been looking at Ms. Sinklers students projects to know what the assignment for our teacher is. Instead of putting it on a board , we are going to put it on a website. It is going to be a slideshow. I started by taking three pictures of my community and uploading it. This is how har into the project , we've gotten.

Thanksgiving Break Week

This week , we've been thankful. In computer class we had to look on Ms. Williams blogspot just because she wasn't here this Wenesday. We did all of her work. There were various assignments done in class. Also , we had to post our graph on our blogspots. We had a short week anyways because everyone went home Wenesday for the 2 break day holiday of Thanksgiving. I went home and shopped for the food right away. It was soooooo gooddd after being cooked. I had a full tummy. That was my week!

Incorpoarted by Yahoo , Flickr is made for slideshows and pics. It is not as good as Slideshare though. I have a flickr myself. I used it for a computer class project. You can share and stay in touch , upload and organize , make stuff , and then explore!

It's a link within google ; It's google news. It's an online newspaper. Google News is an automated news channel provided by Google Inc. The main idea is the the Principal Research Scientist of Google. No person is involved in the altering of the front page. There are many stories on it. Google News left beta in January 2006. I don't really use it. Okay ..... it's not interesting enough. It talks about the world , top stories , the U.S. , business , entertainment , sports , health , spotlight , and the most popular.

For example , Google like yahoo that was created by students from Stanford University crawls the web and analyzes how websites link to eachother. Many other websites link to Google. Google seeks to capitalise on the editorial judgement of millions of website authors on an automated basis. However, Google is the only search engine that is exclusively focused on links-based searching that is currently publicly available for web-wide searching. Using google (to research this) , I studied that data released by Nielsen Net Ratings in August 1999 showed that Google gained the largest month-on-month increase in unique audience figures. Later that month Google signed its first licensing deal with AOL subsidiary Netscape, to be the main search provider on the Netcenter portal.

It's a place where you can find friends and chat with them. Kinda like myspace. Everyones getting one. Me , I already have one. It's a facebook. Facebook is a social network founded in February of 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg. Originally a social network for students of Harvard University, it became a hit on campus and expanded to other colleges. In 2005, Facebook opened itself to high schools, and in 2006, it was open to everyone. Since then, it has experienced tremendous growth ranking only behind MySpace among social networks.Facebook uses the connections of school and work to create strong social networks between people. The popularity of Facebook widgets help people to express their individuality on the network. You should use it. In terms of raw page hits per month, Facebook is the fastest growing social network in the world. This makes it a great place to look for family, friends, or that long-lost someone who you have always wondered about. The ability to search for people based on their high school, college, or place of work makes finding people easier. I have buddies on facebook but , I just joined this year. You can put photos up there.
